More than 150 professionals from approx. 50 companies worldwide, ERA Global members and friends, met in Malta at the Westin Dragonara Hotel at the beginning of this month.
"We are overwhelmed by the huge number of peers who joined us in Malta. ERA Global met for its first board meeting after a long time and almost all of our members took the opportunity at short notice to join us at this industry gathering. Especially in extraordinary times like these, we see the great value of constantly nurturing and maintaining our global business network. We are very grateful that our members have enabled us to pursue our mission by showing incredible support and contributing their fair share financially. We were delighted that several organisations new to ERAG joined us in Malta and signed up as members on site. We are also confident that other companies who were at the event and are not yet members of the association will follow suit and join the ERAG family in the coming days and weeks,” highlighted Dieter Schneider, Chairman ERA Global, CEO Mediashop International.
The whole ERA Global community mobilized once the board meeting was announced in Malta for October 5th. A lot of friends contacted us and showed their interest in joining in and we saw immediate support by the hotel to make this venue happen so that companies could travel responsibly at own risk and without any charge for attending. This reflects the huge role and great importance of our association in the multi-channel home shopping industry", states Dr. Julian Oberndörfer, ERA Global CEO.
This was the first large gathering in person of our industry since the corona pandemic started.
